Oradell-based Huntington Learning Center announced Monday that students who receive its tutoring services scored better on the SAT, the ACT, and on the scholarships survey for 2019.
Huntington says students who participated in its standardized test prep programs nationwide reported an increase of 229 points on the SAT, and 5.4 points on the ACT. Huntington says students reported receiving more than $71,000 in scholarships on average, up from $57,000 in 2018.
Huntington says total scholarships awarded to Huntington students who were surveyed was $187 million, up from $140 million in 2018.
Huntington Learning Center provides tutoring services and preparation for standardized tests. It employs certified teachers who provide individualized instruction in phonics, reading, writing, study skills, elementary, middle school math, Algebra through Calculus, Chemistry, and other sciences.
