I.D. Systems ends 2015 by winning 2.4M in orders

Woodcliff Lake-based wireless tracking solutions company I.D. Systems Inc. ended 2015 by securing $2.4 million worth of orders for vehicle management systems, it announced Tuesday.The firm said in a news release that the purchase orders came from a series of new and existing end customers. I.D. Systems will supply the undisclosed businesses with both its latest-generation wireless industrial systems and its third-generation products, and expects to continue to provide the firms with hosting and support services for them.

“December marked our highest month of VMS sales this year,” Kenneth Ehrman, chairman and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “This achievement reflects the increasing demand for our innovative and field-proven solutions, as well as the growth of the VMS market for tracking and managing industrial trucks.

“We continue to establish I.D. Systems’ technology as the global industry-leading standard for enhancing safety and improving productivity of industrial assets.”

Ehrman added that the company is starting 2016 with an expanded and enhanced product portfolio, order pipeline and sales channel network.
