I.D. Systems gets 900,000 in orders for vehicle management system

I.D. Systems, Inc., a provider of wireless asset management systems, announced Wednesday that it has received a series of follow-on purchase orders for its PowerFleet vehicle management system totaling approximately $900,000.The Woodcliff Lake-based company said in a news release that the unnamed purchaser, a global consumer packaged goods company, is a current customer that requires more of the systems. After delivery, it will be utilizing more than 1,500 PowerFleet systems, I.D. Systems said.

“We are gratified that another customer with a large-scale enterprise continues to aggressively expand its deployment of our wireless VMS technology for their fleets of industrial trucks,” Kenneth Ehrman, I.D. Systems’ chairman and CEO, said in the release. “We see VMS growing quickly as a best practice among companies with global supply chains, and we believe I.D. Systems continues to lead the wireless VMS market.”
