I.D. Systems secures multiyear contract

Woodcliff Lake-based wireless solutions firm I.D. Systems Inc. announced Tuesday that it has signed a multiyear contract with All Truck Transportation to deploy its track-and-trace systems on its entire fleet of trailers.I.D. Systems said in a news release that the Midwestern regional truckload transportation provider will utilize 1,500 of its VeriWise Dry Van Track & Trace systems, which provide real-time GPS location data.

“We were able to replace All Truck’s current provider of vehicle-tracking systems, due to the industry-leading features of our VeriWise fleet management system, including a robust analytics platform and in-transit reporting,” Matt Harris, senior vice president of transportation sales at I.D. Systems, said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to supporting All Truck’s efforts to more efficiently manage their growing fleet of transportation assets.”

All Truck is based in Chicago.

“Following a comprehensive evaluation process, we were highly impressed with I.D. Systems’ technology,” Nino Alagna, president of All Truck, said in a statement.
