I.D. Systems secures VMS warranty contract renewal with global retail customer

Woodcliff Lake-based I.D. Systems Inc. announced Thursday that it has secured a one-year warranty renewal contract with a global retail customer.The contract, according to the provider of enterprise technology and solutions, is worth about $850,000 and extends the warranty on both hardware and software for the customer’s vehicle management systems.

“This key customer and partner of I.D. Systems for more than 10 years has harnessed our VMS technology as a best practice for improving its fleet safety and compliance, reducing material handling costs and increasing supply chain productivity. We are very pleased to continue providing this customer with extended warranty coverage and the highest level of customer service and support to ensure our VMS provides the value they have come to rely on for the year ahead,” Kenneth Ehrman, chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
