Imperial Bag & Paper Co LLC Chief Financial Officer Marc Mongulla will leave the company to pursue a new opportunity, effective Aug. 30.
Current Chief Administrative Office Paul Cervino will assume the role of interim CFO while the company performs an executive search for Mongulla’s successor.
Cervino has been with Imperial for 10 years in various financial and administrative roles.
“We have full confidence in Paul’s ability to lead our finance operations, and we expect a smooth transition,” said Chief Executive Officer Robert Tills in a statement. “We are grateful for his experience and leadership while our search is underway for a new chief financial officer.”
The 84-year-old company, also known as Imperial Dade, distributes disposable food service and janitorial supplies in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Southwest and Midwest regions and Puerto Rico.
Prior to serving as CFO at Imperial, Mongulla spent 14 years at Pinnacle Foods in Parsippany, most recently as senior vice president of finance for North American retail. He left Pinnacle shortly before Conagra Brands acquired the food manufacturer in 2018.
