Janitorial and food services supplier Imperial Dade acquired Tepe Sanitary Supply Inc. in Indiana, according to a May 16 announcement.
Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Tepe is a janitorial and industrial supplier headquartered in Elkhart, Ind., with sales covering all of northern Indiana, Michigan and Chicago.
“Like Imperial Dade, Tepe has a deeply rooted family culture and high standard for customer service, making the business a great addition to our family,” said Chairman Robert Tillis.
The company was founded and is operated by Steve Tepe.
“We are excited to grow our presence across the Midwest and look forward to partnering with Steve and the Tepe team to capitalize on the many growth opportunities that we see ahead for the business,” said CEO Jason Tillis.
Steve Tepe said in a prepared statement that “Imperial Dade’s reputation and family-oriented culture align well” with his own company’s philosophy and values, and that he’s “excited for the opportunity to expand our business and better serve our customers as part of the Imperial Dade platform.”
The transaction is Imperial Dade’s 49th acquisition under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis.
