Imperial Dade, a foodservice packaging and janitorial supply company, announced its growth in a “key market” Sept. 2 — Puerto Rico.
The Jersey City company acquired International Sales & Marketing, based in the city of Cataño, marking the firm’s 53rd acquisition under the leadership of Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Owned and operated by Eduardo Lopez, IMS is also a distributor of foodservice and janitorial sanitation products.
“Eduardo runs a fantastic company, and operates with similar values to that of Imperial Dade,” Robert Tillis said in a statement. “I am excited for the opportunity to partner with the ISM team to further grow our business in a key market and am confident new and existing customers will benefit from our companies joining together.”
Lopez shared his excitement about the deal, adding, “Our customers will receive the same outstanding service they have come to expect from us and a significantly expanded product offering.”
