Infocus Employee Services to be Acquired by Platinum Equity

Infocus Employee Services, a Morristown-based human resources application service provider (ASP), is being acquired by Los Angeles-based Platinum Equity. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed and the closing of the transaction is expected to be complete by January 2, 2001. The company business will continue to operate as a separate entity as Infocus Employee Services and will remain based in Morristown. Founded seven years ago within the Xerox Financial Services group of companies, Infocus provides outsourced HR information, payroll and benefit support services for companies of all sizes of employee bases.
