LEA publishes books, journals, software and electronic books in four major subject areas: psychology; education; communication and communication disorders; and management and organizational studies. Informa is the publisher of Lloyd”s List newspaper, and has more than 150 offices in more than 40 countries. The company had $1.2 billion in sales in 2005, up 29.% from 2004. LEA will become a part of InformaÂs Taylor & Francis business. Roger Horton, CEO of Taylor & Francis, said the acquisition of LEA will significantly support the companyÂs expansion in the U.S. market.
