Inserra Supermarkets Inc. opened its largest ShopRite store in Wayne on Oct. 31.
The 80,000-square-foot store at 30 Wayne Hills Mall features a Patsy’s Butcher meat department with trained butchers; from-scratch fresh bake shop offering store made bread, cakes and pastries; fresh seafood delivered daily; a large selection of organic and locally grown produce; and a floral department.

The store will also feature a ShopRite gourmet kitchen where customers can buy chef-made meals fresh daily, a wellness center and an in-store Registered Dietitian.
Inserra Supermarkets was established in 1954 by Patsy Inserra as a privately-held family business and is a longtime member of the retailer-owned cooperative Wakefern Food Corp.
Inserra Supermarkets Inc. operates 23 ShopRites, including locations in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties, as well as five stores over the border in Rockland County, N.Y.
The new store replaces the ShopRite of Wayne, located at 625 Hamburg Turnpike, which closed its doors on Oct. 30.
