The event and the capital campaign will benefit the new Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill that is scheduled to open in late fall, the new leading-edge cancer center opening early next year, a residency program, critical projects at Inspira Medical Center Vineland, as well as, building programs throughout southern New Jersey.
“It is such an honor for me to share the news that for the first network-wide capital campaign, we reached our goal—six
months ahead of schedule,” said John DiAngelo, president and chief executive officer of Inspira Health from the center of the ballroom.
“We met this goal because of the generous support of you, our guests, along with community members, local businesses and members of the Inspira family.”
At the gala, DiAngelo announced a new goal of $23 million.
“Our needs, and the needs of our community, far exceed $20 million. Our continued commitment means we will continue to strive to address those needs. As a result, we come to you today with our pledge to do more,” said DiAngelo. “This Invest. Impact. Inspire capital campaign directly supports our goal to provide care for our community—in our community.”
The Grand Gala was co-chaired by Inspira’s two boards, the Inspira Network board and the Inspira Hospital board.
“Tonight’s event commemorates Inspira’s growth and sense of family,” said Michael McLaughlin, chair of the Inspira Network board. “The Foundation events uniting to become one, the two boards working together with the gala committee to make it all possible. It’s extremely rewarding to see how Inspira’s history and traditions are blending with our exciting and ambitious goals for the future,” McLaughlin said.
“An outstanding committee worked very hard to ensure that we’ll long remember this Grand Gala, our first network-wide fundraising event. Over the next five years, Inspira is investing more than $600 million in critical and innovative projects across the regional. Philanthropy is key to advancing those needed services,” said Gary Galloway, chair of the Inspira Hospital board.
