In a move that Inspira Health said will bolster its new strategic plan, the health care network named an executive with more than two decades of experience to its human resources team.
Julie Ellis was announced as vice president of human resources for Mullica Hill-based Inspira on Sept. 10; her position is effective Sept. 7.
Ellis will focus on enhancing Inspira and its quality of care through employee recruitment and retention efforts, in addition to fostering relationships with the business community and other stakeholders, the the South Jersey company said.
She most recently served as assistant vice president of human resources for Kennedy Health System – now a part of Thomas Jefferson University.

in a prepared statement.
Ellis’s appointment follows that of Chief Human Resources Officer Anneliese McMenamin, with whom she will work to drive the health care organization – and its more than 6,200 employees and over 1,300 physicians and other care providers – to develop and institute initiatives that align with its mission and values, while nurturing internal growth and enhancing patient experience.

According to Inspira, Ellis is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and holds a Senior Certified Professional Certification from the organization. She is also involved with the New Jersey Hospital Association, the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey HR Council and The Pennsylvania State University Mentorship Program.
