Mjolner Shipping LLC, a Jersey City-based commercial vessel manager, announced several changes to its executive leadership Thursday.Robert J. Lyons, the company’s chief executive officer since its inception, will become the board chairman, Mjolner said in a news release. In turn, Kevin M. Wise, Mjolner’s president and chief operating officer, will become CEO and president. Finally, Jonathan Jackson, a company vice president, will become chief commercial officer.
“Kevin has been the driving force in growing this company since he joined us,” Lyons said in a prepared statement. “Under his leadership, Mjolner will continue to chart its own course while enhancing and expanding its offered services.”
Wise has more than 14 years’ experience in the shipping industry, Mjolner said.
