The $138 million apartment building will be ready for occupancy in summer 2010JERSEY CITY Â Local officials and developers today celebrated the vertical construction progress of 225 Grand, a new 15-story apartment rental building in the cityÂs downtown area. The residential tower will consist of 348 units, an enclosed parking garage with up to 350 spaces and 1,700 square feet of retail space.
Eight of the 15 stories already have been constructed at 225 Grand, which broke ground last fall.
The $138 million project is being developed by Hoboken-based Ironstate Development Co. and Bridgewater-based SK Properties  both of which have other residential projects in the stateÂs second-largest city. 225 Grand is expected to be ready for occupancy by summer 2010, according to the developers.
