Leasing officially kicked off for BeLa, a collection of 99 luxury rental residences and specially-designed amenities in Jersey City’s historic and culturally-rich Bergen-Lafayette area.
The new eight-story building opens with 3-D walkthroughs that allow prospective tenants to virtually tour its spacious one- and two-bedroom residences and amenity suite while safely practicing social distancing.
The building’s owner, Golden Glades Capital Management LLC, tapped Halstead Property NJ Development Marketing as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.
Halstead is offering a launch promotion of up to three free months in incentives for tenants who sign leases in May. Occupancy is scheduled for June.
Located at 74 Maple St., BeLa is the latest example of Bergen-Lafayette’s rise as a desirable residential destination bordering Liberty State Park.
“This neighborhood has so much urban character while also offering a greener side of Jersey City,” said Carole Bloom, executive vice president of leasing for Halstead Development Marketing. “Liberty State Park is virtually BeLa’s backyard, offering more than 1,200 acres of public open space and a waterfront walkway, while Berry Lane Park provides an additional 17 acres of active and passive recreational space.”
The newly constructed building is just blocks from Communipaw Avenue, the area’s business corridor, which offers bars, eateries, shops and everyday conveniences.
Downtown Jersey City, Hoboken and Manhattan are easily reached via the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Liberty Park Station which is just steps from BeLa. Four light rail stops away is the Exchange Place PATH Station, which is one stop from the World Trade Center transit hub.
