Even with more than five dozen acquisitions under its current leadership to date, fast-growing Imperial Dade is still making company firsts.

The Jersey City-based foodservice packaging and janitorial supply company announced June 5 that it has entered Hawaii and Dallas with two acquisitions, marking the company’s 65th and 66th such moves under the leadership of Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis, who bought the company in 2007.

In Hawaii, Imperial Dade has added Pearl City-based Triple F Distributing to its portfolio. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Owned by Invision Diversified Holdings LLC, Triple F is the market leading distributor of foodservice packaging supplies, janitorial supplies and sustainable packaging servicing each Hawaiian island, according to Imperial Dade.

Noting that his company was excited to join Imperial Dade, Triple F President Paul Ah Cook and his management team will continue running day-to-day operations.

“We are excited and proud to enter the Hawaiian Islands with such a reputable organization who shares our focus on customer service and embraces the family culture,” Robert Tillis said in a statement.

Jason Tillis called the Hawaiian deal the company’s “next stage of growth.”

Back in the contiguous U.S., Imperial Dade has made its first acquisition to date in Dallas with the purchase of Lovan Industries. The company also did not disclose those financial details.

Founded in 1980 and now operated by second-generation owner Mike Gilliam, Loven has grown into a leading distributor of industrial and janitorial supplies throughout Dallas.

“We share the same customer-centric values and I am proud to now work alongside you all,” Robert Tillis said about the Dallas team.

“Imperial Dade is a market leader with a strong culture and differentiated service quality, and we are excited to join their family. Under the leadership of Bob and Jason, we believe this partnership will strengthen our customer and supplier relationships,” Gilliam added.

Founded in 1935, Imperial Dade serves more than 90,000 customers across North America. To support its growth, the company recently added the position of chief digital officer and named Devashish Saxena to the new role.
