JMF Properties’ luxury rentals Clarus Glen Ridge hits 100% leased

Leasing kicked off at the second community from JMF Properties to bear the Clarus brand in September. Now, the collection of 110 rental residences is 100% leased.

JMF announced the milestone on March 23.

We are perfectionists, and spent a lot of time making sure every single detail of the building was just right, so to see this type of response is tremendously gratifying.”

Located on Baldwin Avenue along the border with Montclair, Clarus Glen Ridge is within walking distance of NJ Transit’s Bay Street train station and that city’s active downtown, but situated on a quiet Glen Ridge street.

In the coming year, JMF said it will introduce two additional rental communities — both near train stations. The American is expected to begin leasing this fall at 1000 American Road in Morris Plains. Then, the next in the Clarus series, which is coming to Berkeley Heights, is expected to launch leasing in 2023.

Clarus Maplewood, Glen Ridge’s predecessor, is an award-winner, having been named the 2018 Community of the Year for mixed-use projects by the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association, the 2019 Good Neighbor Award from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association. It was also the first community in New Jersey, according to JMF, to earn the WELL Certification – Gold Level by the International WELL Building Institute, which recognizes buildings designed to enhance the health and wellness of its occupants.

Taking up that mantle, Clarus Glen Ridge was recently named one of the “Best of 2021” development projects by Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal.
