Nationally, Juniper ranks among the top 40 largest providers of seniors housing communities. The Terrace has 70 personal care units and 33 memory care units tucked away in the northwest section of Philadelphia. A stone mansion, built in 1865, is part of the campus that boasts stunning grounds, walking paths and glorious chestnut trees.
As with all Juniper acquisitions, the company works to retain the employees and bring them into the Juniper fold. Currently, 95 people are employed at the community.
The community will benefit from Juniper’s signature programming that includes an award-winning dementia care program known as Wellspring Memory Care, a comprehensive electronic health records system, a fully coordinated healthcare delivery model Connect4Life, an integrated connections and activities program referred to as Alive in All Seasons. All are designed to foster the Juniper mission of nurturing the spirit of life in each individual served.
The community will now operate under the name The Terrace at Chestnut Hill, a Juniper Managed Community.
