Kearny Bank elevated four members of its Risk Management Division, which is responsible for measuring, monitoring and reporting potential exposures, to senior management roles.
In a move characterized as “sharpening the focus” of the unit, the Fairfield-based financial institution named John Dunne executive vice president and chief risk officer, Nancy Malinconico senior vice president and chief compliance and community reinvestment act officer, Michael Valente second vice president and enterprise risk officer, and Yvonne Louro vice president and compliance officer.
In addition to its cybersecurity duties, the Risk Management Division engages with consumer compliance rules, federal anti-money laundering laws and insurance coverage, Kearny said.
“Our success related to risk management is based, in large part, on the talent and experience of the division’s employees,” said Eric Heyer, senior executive vice president and chief operating officer. “These four promotions were well-earned, and I’m confident they’ll result in additional benefits to our clients and our company.”
Dunne is based at the bank’s corporate headquarters, Malinconico and Valente are located at Montclair Heights in Clifton, and Louro is based in Oakhurst.
