Who is your most influential role model? My mom. She went to medical school at age 13, has probably read every book in the library at least once, and she taught me that a woman can do anything she sets her mind to.
When is it appropriate to text in business? If texting is an acceptable and preferred form of communication for your client, then it would be appropriate.
What is your go-to stress buster at work? A cup of tea and a couple deep breaths.
What do you wish someone had told you earlier in your career? Be prepared for uncertainty, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the better you get at handling them when they occur, and avoid making the same mistakes in the future.
The women will be honored at an event March 24 at The Palace at Somerset Park. For more details, click here or please contact Melissa Sullenberger at melissas@njbiz.com or call her at 732-246-5737.
