Woodbridge-based The Kislak Co. Inc. said Thursday it recently sold Mulberry Station Apartment Homes, a 100-unit apartment complex in downtown Harrisburg, Pa. for $12.1 million.
Located at 200 S. Court St., the complex consists of two buildings built in 1987, just steps from the Susquehanna River. They feature 20 one-bedroom, 60 two-bedroom and 20 three-bedroom units – 45 percent of which had interior upgrades to kitchens and bathrooms in 2019. Amenities include keyed entry with intercom, private entrances, attached two-car garages or carports, additional storage, on-site maintenance and management, and landscaped courtyard with grilling stations.
Kislak marketed the property on an exclusive basis with President Robert Holland and Vice President Matt Wolf handing the assignment. They also procured the buyer.
“We received a tremendous amount of interest and offers given the lack of supply in the central Pennsylvania market,” said Wolf. “The purchaser is very excited to increase his presence in the Harrisburg market and this an excellent opportunity for him to obtain a second local property.”
The property sits within walking distance of the business district and government center of Harrisburg and is blocks from major companies and health care facilities, such as Pinnacle Health – Harrisburg Campus Hospital. Nearby are attractions like Hershey Park, Amish Village, the Strasburg Railroad, Lancaster farms and markets, museums and symphony orchestras.
