Woodbridge-based The Kislak Co. Inc. on June 9 announced the recent sale of a warehouse with approximately 125,000 square feet located at 901 Quarry St. in Darby, Delaware County, Pa., for $2,500,000.
Kislak marketed the property on an exclusive basis on behalf of the seller, Quarry Bridge Associates LLC, with Senior Vice President Matt Weilheimer and Sales Associate Anthony Palmiotto handling the assignment. Weilheimer also procured the purchaser, 901 Quarry LLC.
“It was an absolute pleasure working with the seller and Dwight City Group who worked cohesively to complete this sale of this property for adaptive reuse,” Weilheimer commented in a prepared statement.
Situated on a 3.22-acre lot directly adjacent to Darby Creek, the property consists of a five-story warehouse with slab on grade construction and concrete columns. Water, sewer, gas and electric utilities are currently accessible to the vacant building that was granted a use variance for at least 90 luxury workforce housing units. There is an existing cell tower on-site as well as excess land for potential development in the future.
The property is attractive for adaptive reuse given its close proximity to Center City, Philadelphia, which is only 12 miles away.
