Tax and audit advisory firm KPMG recently broke ground for its new technology center in Montvale. “We are very pleased to build upon our 30years of success in the Montvale community with this state-of-the-art addition to our campus,” KPMG Chief Financial Officer and Montvale Managing Principal David Turner said. “Bringing together more than 600 technology professionals in a world-class facility will further strengthen our ability to develop new solutions and capabilities, while creating an environment where they will be proud to work.”
The facility will house up to 625 workers and is expected to be completed in 2018. KPMG said the workers will move from the current Montvale campus and other company offices.
The firm also celebrated its 30th anniversary in Montvale on Wednesday.
“KPMG has been a valued member of our Montvale business community for 30 years,” Montvale Mayor Michael Ghassali said. “The firm’s decision to expand its presence with the construction of a leading-edge technology facility is a testament both to Montvale’s business-friendly environment and our longstanding relationship with KPMG.”
KPMG also announced it is planning improvements to its central campus at 3 Chestnut Ridge Road and its facility at 300 Tice Blvd., Woodcliff Lake. The firm employs over 3,100 individuals statewide.
