Lasso Analytics, a WordPress plugin that helps online businesses manage affiliate marketing and create no-code product displays, announced May 7 that it raised $120,000 in seed funding from the TinySeed accelerator.
The funding and TinySeed’s mentorship will help advance Lasso’s mission to simplify affiliate marketing for no-code business owners and grow their online sales.
“We created Lasso to help us monetize our own websites,” said Andrew Fiebert, chief technology officer and co-founder of Hoboken-based Lasso. “We realized that we were spending far too much time trying to manage our affiliate links at the expense of growing our business. We eventually released Lasso after enough of our friends and audience reached out and asked how we were creating our beautiful mobile-friendly product displays.”
Lasso helps people who aren’t developers add product displays to their websites that help them stand out and generate sales. Lasso’s tool enables WordPress websites to easily manage hundreds of affiliate links, create attractive product displays, track customer interactions, and integrate Amazon, ShareASale, and other affiliate networks.
“We love it when founders are working on a problem they know well,” said Rob Walling, co-founder of TinySeed. “Andrew and Laura’s experience managing their own affiliate websites is the reason Lasso has gained traction so quickly.”
