The law firm of Cullen and Dykman LLP has opened a new full-service office in Newark, it announced Wednesday.The firm, which also has offices in Hackensack and Princeton, took 9,300 square feet of space at One Riverfront Plaza, known as the Newark Legal Center. Cullen and Dykman will now have 23 attorneys working in the Garden State, along with more than 150 lawyers and 160 other employees in offices in New York and Washington, D.C.
The expansion into Newark will help the firm better serve its New Jersey clients, it said in a news release.
“The addition of a full-service office in Newark reflects the firm’s commitment to grow and expand, and serve our clients in their communities throughout the region,” Christopher H. Palmer, managing partner, said in a prepared statement. “Our new location in the heart of Newark’s business district is directly connected to Newark Penn Station and within easy access of most major New Jersey roadways.”
Cullen and Dykman said it is staffing the office with attorneys specializing in such fields as banking, commercial and tort litigation, energy and utilities, corporate law and New Jersey real estate.
Steven J. Robinson, a partner with the firm, will manage the office, while Leon Sokol will continue to handle overall management of the firm’s New Jersey practice.
