The law firm of Goldberg Segalla is expanding its New Jersey presence with the opening of a second office, in Newark, it announced Tuesday.The firm, which has an office in Princeton, announced the new location as part of a three-office expansion that also includes a site in Florida and one in Maryland.
There will be six attorneys working out of the Newark office, which occupies 11,650 square feet at 1037 Raymond Blvd. owned by Matrix Development.
The new team, whose members were hired from a number of firms, will augment the 21 lawyers in the Princeton office.
“The further growth in both new and established markets is a result of client demand and proof that we not only meet, but continually exceed, the high expectations our client community has for us,” Richard J. Cohen, managing partner, said in a prepared statement.
David S. Osterman, a senior equity partner and management committee member with the firm, will now oversee both New Jersey offices.
Goldberg Segalla, based in New York, now has 17 offices in the U.S. and U.K.
