Cushman & Wakefield arranged a long-term lease for Nexus 17 South in Paramus, a five-story 250,000-square-foot office building.
Law firm Dunn Lambert LLC signed on for 6,608 square feet at the property located at 15 E. Midland Ave., the commercial real estate services firm announced Nov. 11.
Executive Director David DeMatteis, Executive Managing Director Benjamin Brenner and Senior Director Mark Zaziski represented the landlord, The Birch Group, in the transaction. CBRE First Vice President Sean Morley represented the tenant.
A two-building complex – together with the also five-story, 250,000-square-foot Nexus 17 North building – and situated at the intersection of Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway, the property recently underwent a capital improvement program that added new lobbies and common areas, a fitness center, cafeteria, courtyard with outdoor space and conference center, Cushman & Wakefield said.
“Ownership has done an incredible job transforming this property into a world class workspace where tenants can enjoy best-in-class amenities for an optimal office environment,” DeMatteis said in a statement. “Leasing in Paramus remains strong, demonstrating that renovated properties are in high demand and will dominate the office landscape going forward.”
In addition to its accessibility to major roadways, Nexus 17 boasts NJ Transit bus service and a selection of retail, dining and entertainment options in the surrounding area, like the adjacent Paramus Park Mall.
Nexus 17 North is located at 461 From Road.
Dunn Lambert’s website currently lists two offices: one in Paramus at East 80 Route 4 and a New York City location. The firm did not return a request for comment by press time.
