New York City-based LeFrak recently announced it has begun leasing at its latest project in Jersey City, Ellipse. “Over the past 30 years, Newport has transformed into a wonderful place to live, work and play,” Richard LeFrak, chairman and CEO of LeFrak, said. “The Ellipse represents the culmination of our years of developing Newport into an in-demand neighborhood, and this waterfront building will set the bar and elevate the standard of living in Jersey City.”

Ellipse was designed by Miami-based firm Arquitectonica. LeFrak said the location of the property, on the Hudson waterfront, will offer a view of the Manhattan skyline for every residence.

“Residents who work from home will benefit from the co-working space, while those looking to relax and socialize can enjoy the multipurpose lounge and game room,” LeFrak said in a news release. “Fitness never felt so good, with a state-of-the-art gym boasting sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. Kids are also catered to at Ellipse, which offers a fully equipped children’s playroom.”

Residents will also have access to the Newport Green, a 4.25-acre park on the Hudson, with pedestrian access to the Hoboken via the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.

Unit rental prices will start at $2,600 per month.

Occupancy is slated for summer 2017.
