Following more than a year of construction and anticipation while navigating the pandemic, LeGrand Coffee House announced its LeGrand Opening for May 14.
The brick-and-mortar location is part of the brand-new Avenue & Green development at 10 Green St. in Woodbridge. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held with Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac, followed by a community event at 11 a.m.
Developed by Prism Capital Partners, Avenue & Green is part of a redevelopment effort throughout the area. Located next to the Woodbridge Train Station, the mixed-use property consists of 232 residential apartments and 12,000 square feet of retail space.
“It has been a long time coming, but we are so excited to be opening up LeGrand Coffee House,” said Eric LeGrand, founder and CEO of LeGrand Coffee House. “We cannot wait to serve the community some great coffee, make everybody feel comfortable and ultimately leave satisfied.”
The making of LeGrand’s new venture was spotlighted by NJBIZ in May 2021.
At the LeGrand Opening, the LeGrand Coffee House staff will brew all five roasts (Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, Sumatra) along with a house blend that will be announced on the day of the event. The festivities will also feature food, baked goods, merchandise and a meet and greet with LeGrand, along with various forms of entertainment.
LeGrand, the former Rutgers standout who sustained a life-altering spinal cord injury in 2010, has become a worldwide source of inspiration for countless people.
“We are pumped up for you to enjoy your daily cup of bELIieve,” LeGrand said.
