Eatontown, Union, and Hazlet will each get locations, with openings set for Oct. 31, Nov. 14, and Nov. 28, respectively.
The German-based grocer established its U.S. headquarters in Virginia in 2015 and has opened over 50 stores in seven states, including one in Vineland in 2017. In all, Lidl operates about 10,500 stores in 28 countries.
Lidl U.S. sources the majority of its products from American suppliers.
On opening day, the first 100 customers will received a wooden coin redeemable for a gift card between $5 and $100. Product samples, special deals, and giveaways will also be available.
Store hours will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, at each location.
