Joshua Weiner joined Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper PC in Westfield as partner and co-chair of the firm’s labor and employment practice alongside partner Kathleen Connelly.
His focus will include litigated matters as well as administrative and arbitration proceedings, employment law preventive practices and audits, labor union law disputes and management training, according to an Oct. 7 announcement.
“Joshua Weiner’s significant expertise in employment and labor law will be a tremendous asset for our clients,” said President David Pierce in a prepared statement. “We are eager for him to apply his notable experience in representing employers in complex proceedings across a variety of industries.”
For 15 years, Weiner has represented small- to large-sized companies on employment matters such as claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour disputes, defamation and invasion of privacy. Weiner handles corporate disputes with employees over executive compensation, employment contracts and restrictive covenants; and he represents employers and management in labor disputes and negotiations with unions.
Weiner is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association and Sidney Reitman Inn of Court.
