Linde LLC, a gases and engineering company with locations in Murray Hill and New Providence, plans to open its first hydrogen fueling station in the U.S., it said Monday.The station, located at the Ramos Oil Company’s multifuel station in West Sacramento, California, should be online by the end of the year, Linde said.
“We are very excited to be working with Ramos Oil on this project,” Nitin Natesan, business development manager for Linde Hydrogen Fueling, said in a prepared statement. “This high throughput retail station is a very significant step forward in the commercialization of hydrogen-fueled cars.”
Ramos’ station currently offers gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel, ethanol-85, methanol and racing fuels for retail customers.
