Litigator Erika Lopes-McLeman has been promoted to partner in Dentons’ Short Hills office, the firm announced Feb. 8.
Lopes-McLeman is a member of the national firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice and its insurance sector group. She co-chairs of the firm’s U.S. associates committee and is the associate liaison to the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee.
She counsels and represents clients in complex commercial disputes including insurer-side coverage litigations and arbitrations.
Her insurance coverage practice includes representing insurers in matters such as complex insurance coverage litigations, reinsurance arbitrations, and counseling insurers on complex claims. As a commercial litigator, she’s successfully represented clients in various industries in disputes.
Prior to entering private practice, Lopes-McLema served as a law clerk to Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Stuart Rabner. She is barred in New Jersey and New York.
