Manhattan Bagel Coming to South Jersey
Manhattan Bagel, a brand of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc., will soon open a store in Manahawkin.Manhattan Bagel, a brand of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BAGL), will soon open a store in Manahawkin. The company has signed a franchise agreement with Brick-based VAM, LLC for a 2,400-square-foot restaurant at 297 Route 72 West. The new eatery is scheduled to open in November and will employ about 15 people.
New Jersey is currently home to 26 Manhattan Bagel restaurants. Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc., a Lakewood, Colo.-based quick casual-restaurant operator, runs locations primarily under the Einstein Bros. and Noah’s New York Bagels brands. The company mainly franchises locations under the Manhattan Bagel brand.
The retail operation consists of approximately 600 restaurants in 36 states and the District of Columbia. It also operates a dough production facility in California.
Shares of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group traded at $17.64 early this afternoon.
