The developer agreed to acquire the 41-story skyscraper at 666 Fifth Ave.in Manhattan for $1.8 billion from New York City-based Tishman Speyer Properties. The price is reportedly the highest paid for a single office building in the United States, breaking the previous record set by Tishman Speyer when it purchased the MetLife Building for $1.72 billion last year. Kushner is the largest commercial real estate developer in the state in terms of number of employees.
