RWJBarnabas Health announced on Wednesday new leadership within its business development team.

Mark Manigan has been named executive vice president, effective April 1, and Deb Lienhardt will serve as senior vice president.

Manigan will report to RWJBarnabas Health President and Chief Executive Officer Barry Ostrowsky.

Both Manigan and Lienhardt are from the health law practice of Brach Eichler LLC, based in Roseland.

“We continue to position ourselves as a national leader while improving the health of our communities,” Ostrowsky in a statement. “Mr. Manigan and Ms. Lienhardt are highly qualified attorneys who have significant experience in both corporate and regulatory health care matters and we are excited that they will be joining our team.”

“Mark and Deb are wonderful attorneys whose approach to the business of health care is second to none. They have been key forces in developing our health law practice to become the most highly respected team in the region,” said John Fanburg, managing member of Brach Eichler and chair of its Health Law Practice.

Manigan has served a wide spectrum of health care clients and has provided representation to health care businesses on strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, dissolutions and general corporate matters.

Lienhardt has expertise in corporate and regulatory matters at both the federal and state level and has facilitated health care transactions in New Jersey. She has served as the program coordinator of the New Jersey Healthcare Market Review since its inception.
