Legacy brand The Manischewitz Co. is serving up some new options, and a new look, in the kosher aisle.
On top of packaging redesigns and a redesign of its website and advertising campaigns, Manischewitz will be releasing several new products in the next few months.
Its line of traditional macaroons has a new cousin with birthday cake macaroons, gluten-free as always and available for Passover. The 131-year-old company is also extending its line of nut butters to include cashew butter and hazelnut butter, both 100-percent natural.
“We are so excited to unveil our new brand image to our consumers,” said Manischewitz President David Sugarman in a statement. “Our new logo’s tagline, ‘Comfort Food for the Soul,’ represents our brand’s familiar place in the hearts and kitchens of the families that we serve.”
The company seeks to appeal beyond the kosher community to adventure-seeking foodies wanting to try new ethnic cuisine.
