Manufacturer Hishi Plastics renews 40K-square-foot lease in Lincoln Park

Hishi Plastics USA renewed its lease in Lincoln Park, CBRE announced Jan. 24.

According to the commercial real estate services and investment firm, the division of Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical will continue its occupancy of an approximately 40,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility located at 600 Ryerson Road.

CBRE First Vice President Thomas Mallaney and Client Services Specialist Denise Kokulak worked closely with Hishi Plastics General Manager of Operations Chris Vergano on the transaction.

Mallaney and Kokulak also secured a renewal for the tenant at the property in 2017.

“We are pleased to have had a new opportunity to work with Chris and to represent Hishi Plastics in this new long-term leasehold,” Mallaney said in a statement. “We also want to acknowledge the timely responses by the building ownership, Dominic Frassetto of The Frassetto Cos., who was instrumental in this transaction.”

Founded in 1985, Hishi Plastics USA is a leading manufacturer of tamper-evident packaging materials, which are produced at this state-of-the-art facility in Morris County.
