Snickers and Skittles will receive more visibility across WWE’s global platform with an expanded partnership announced Monday.
Mars Inc.’s Snickers will serve as the exclusive presenting sponsor of WrestleMania, one of the largest sports and entertainment events in the world, on April 7 at MetLife Stadium for the fourth consecutive year.
Snickers’ “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign will air on WWE’s Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live programs, featuring custom content produced by WWE. It will also appear across WWE’s social and digital platforms globally.
WWE’s YouTube channel is the number one most viewed sports channel and number two most viewed channel in the world, according to the organization.
As part of the broadened partnership, Snickers has released five limited edition bars with catchphrases from WWE superstars on the packaging.
The bars will be available from March 18 through mid-April at Dollar General stores across the country.
Skittles, also a Mars products, will serve as presenting partner of WWE’s Hell in a Cell event, a cage-based match and tradition since 1997, this September. This partnership will include cross-platform promotion via WWE’s media channels and additional partnership activations not yet announced.
