Matheson to supply Chinese distributor with helium
Jiyang Technology & Development Co. Ltd. will resell the helium across China.Matheson Tri-Gas Inc., in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards, said Tuesday it entered into a supply agreement with Jiyang Technology & Development Co. Ltd., in China.
Matheson said it will supply 11,000 gallon containers of helium to Jiyang for transfer at a Shanghai facility into smaller containers and resale across China.
Matheson is a supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases; gas management services; and handling equipment.
Under the name Matheson Tri-Gas Global Helium, the company manages the worldwide helium supply business of parent Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corp., in Japan.
