RD Management LLC, JMF Properties and RIPCO Real Estate announced they signed a lease with MedFirst Primary & Urgent Care at Waterview Marketplace in Parsippany.

The health care clinic’s new facility is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2019. It operates two additional locations in Pennsylvania. The Waterview Marketplace lease marks its first venture in New Jersey.

MedFirst is set to occupy 4,272 square feet of the new 150,150-square-foot shopping center and will sit adjacent to restaurant B.Good.

Darren Sasso, director of leasing at RD Management, and Alison Horbach, vice president at RIPCO Real Estate, represented ownership in this lease. Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty represented the tenant.

“MedFirst is a key addition to the group of well-established occupants at Waterview Marketplace,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “We’re working closely with our partners at JMF Properties and RIPCO Real Estate to debut a next-level retail experience in Parsippany, and the clinic adds necessary diversity to our tenant mix. Residents looking for top-tier shopping, dining, beauty, and fitness will also have quick access to high quality, community-based medical care.”

Waterview Marketplace will be centrally located at the jug-handle intersection of Waterview Boulevard and Route 46. It is easily accessible from several major highways including Routes 202, 80, and 287.

The shopping center will be situated within a high-density and high-income trade area bordered by Mountain Lakes. It will also be surrounded by large office parks and complementary retail, with scenic greenery and lakes located nearby. Med First will join DSW, Whole Foods Market, Ulta Beauty, Orangetheory Fitness, Homesense, Shake Shack, and The Paper Store at the completed center.

“The Partnership is focused on cultivating a retail mix at Waterview Marketplace that will offer a diverse mix of services in one convenient location,” said Joseph Forgione, founder and principal of JMF Properties. “MedFirst will provide a community-based health care option for area residents that will complement the overall tenant roster and further our vision of creating a meaningful retail experience in Parsippany.”

RD Management owns 21 properties in New Jersey and has more than 150 properties in its national portfolio. JMF Properties owns and manages more than 1.2 million square feet of shopping centers throughout New Jersey.
