Jennifer Zachary will succeed Michael Holston as a member of Merck’s executive committee and general counsel, with responsibility for Merck’s global legal, security and aviation, and environmental, health and safety organizations.

Zachary is currently partner in the food, drug, and device practice group at Washington D.C.-based Covington & Burling, where she advises manufacturers and industry trade associations on FDA requirements for the development, manufacture and distribution of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, biologics and medical devices.
