Micronet Enertec lands 1M purchase order

Micronet Enertec Technologies Inc., a Montvale based fleet computing solutions firm, said Wednesday that a subsidiary has received a $1 million-plus purchase order for a new product.The mobile resource management unit, Micronet Inc., received the $1.06 million order from an undisclosed fleet management solutions provider. It will be supplying the company with its TREQr5 on-board computer product.

“We are very pleased to continue our momentum and to receive such a significant purchase order from an established customer and to advance development of new and sophisticated applications,” Ken Wiesner, CEO of Micronet, said in a prepared statement. “Our TREQr5 is gaining momentum, and we look for it to be a great complement to our product portfolio, thanks to its unique features and flexible architecture.”

The company expects to fulfill the continuous purchase order by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
