Asset protection provider MISTRAS Group Inc., through its Power Generation Group, announced Wednesday that it has signed a contract with PSEG Nuclear to provide inspection services in support of both refueling outages and online activities in South Jersey.The nondestructive examination inspection services — including, but not limited to, radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, visual inspection, liquid penetration and others — will be performed at PSEG Nuclear’s Salem and Hope Creek nuclear generating stations, located in Lower Alloways Creek.
PSEG Nuclear LLC operates the Salem and Hope Creek stations and oversees PSEG Power’s ownership interest in the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Delta, Pennsylvania. PSEG Power owns 100 percent of Hope Creek, 57 percent of Salem and 50 percent of Peach Bottom.
