Mobile engagement firm names SVP of investor relations

A Jersey City company that provides mobile engagement services announced Tuesday that it has named a senior vice president of investor relations.Joseph Wilkinson will lead SITO Mobile Ltd.’s investor relations strategy alongside senior management, the company said in a news release.

“I’m delighted to join the SITO team,” he said in a prepared statement. “I was drawn to SITO Mobile because of its rapid growth, unique IP assets and talented, high-energy team. I also appreciate management’s understanding of the importance of a sophisticated investor relations program. This is a tremendous opportunity here at SITO Mobile and it is exciting to be part of a newly listed Nasdaq-traded company in the fast-growing and dynamic mobile media space.”

Wilkinson most recently served as vice president of investor relations with Millennial Media. He has also worked with XM Satellite Radio, the company said.

He will report to SITO CEO Jerry Hug.
