More toy soldiers on the way to staff stores
Listen to this articleToys ÂRÂ Us plans 35,000 seasonal hires across country.Wayne-based toy retailer Toys ÂRÂ Us said Wednesday it will hire some 35,000 seasonal workers across the country for the coming holidays. The company said the temporary staff increase would be on par with its hires for the prior two holiday seasons. The company operates 848 Toys ÂRÂ Us and Babies ÂRÂ Us stores across the country, and has a staff off 70,000 worldwide.
The toy retailerÂs holiday hiring plans follow its plans to open in early October more than 340 Holiday Express shops in malls and within Babies ÂRÂ Us stores.
