Morris Habitat for Humanity said on July 1 it appointed Andover Township resident Terry-Ann Zander as vice president of marketing and communications.
In her role, Zander is responsible for all marketing and communications initiatives for New Jersey’s leading Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
Zander is a seasoned marketing and communications professional who brings over 25 years of experience to Morris Habitat.

“We are thrilled to have Terry-Ann as a key member of the leadership team,” said Blair Schleicher Wilson, Morris Habitat chief executive officer, in a prepared statement. “She will oversee Morris Habitat’s marketing and branding efforts and shape communication strategies that will amplify Morris Habitat’s efforts in serving more families through its homeownership programs.”
Zander joins Habitat following more than two decades in the professional services and insurance industry. This is her first foray working in the nonprofit sector.
“I am very excited to take on this new role following the recent expansion of Morris Habitat’s service area,” said Zander. “I am looking forward to sharing Habitat homeowner stories and engaging in meaningful dialogue with municipalities and donors about the need for affordable housing in our local communities and the benefits of partnerships with Morris Habitat.”
In 2019, Morris Habitat for Humanity expanded by acquiring the service area of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plainfield & Middlesex County. The organization will operate under the Morris Habitat name and maintain a second office at 2 Randolph Road in Plainfield. The acquisition will effectively double Morris Habitat’s service area to 68 municipalities spanning 1,000 square miles in Morris, Middlesex and parts of Union and Somerset counties.
