NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. said Sept. 21 the team of Vice President Richard Goski and Associate Vice President Catherine Goski recently completed the sale of a 28,000-square-foot warehouse located on a 0.75-acre parcel within proximity to downtown Cranford.
The Goskis represented both the seller and purchaser in the transaction. The buyer, Harrison Developers LLC, is currently seeking approvals for a 75-unit luxury apartment building consisting of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with ground-floor retail.
The existing structure will be demolished and the new development will bring a significant amount of construction jobs and new housing opportunities within a quarter-mile of the Cranford Train Station, on New Jersey Transit’s Raritan Valley Line.
“This was a highly sought-after site by many developers looking to maximize the potential of this property, but the sale required a very unique and experienced buyer given the high estimated cost of the environmental cleanup,” stated Richard Goski. “This property was a family-owned industrial warehouse for generations and we are excited to see the site take on a new life as a vibrant mixed-use development,” added Catherine Goski.
