NAIOP NJ announces 2022 President’s Awards, Hall of Fame inductees

On Nov. 7, NAIOP New Jersey will host a celebration to recognize the service and contribution of its volunteer leaders.

The 2022 Annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner will take place at the Hilton Meadowlands. The honorees and their awards:

• Legacy Award: Geoffrey Schubert, partner, Lee & Associates New Jersey
• Pillar Award: Jesse Harty, senior vice president, Prologis
• Advocacy Award: Emily  Lamond, Cole Schotz PC
• Volunteer of the Year Award: Joseph Galley, vice president, GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc.
• Rising Star Award: Levi Kelman, CEO, Blue Onyx Cos.

Additionally, three industry icons and longtime chapter members will be inducted into The NAIOP New Jersey Hall of Fame:

• Edwin Cohen, principal, Prism Capital Partners LLC
• Scott Perkins, senior vice president, NAI James E. Hanson
• Gretchen Wilcox , president and founder, G.S. Wilcox & Co.

“We are acknowledging these leaders for having contributed their time, knowledge and energy to advance our association and New Jersey’s commercial real estate development industry,” said Gus Milano of Hartz Mountain Industries, who serves as president of the association. “The President’s Awards are our way of thanking them for their selfless and tireless work, which is especially meaningful at a time when the industry is facing challenges on numerous fronts.”

The event will also include the presentation of the Frank D. Visceglia Memorial Scholarships to outstanding Eagle and Gold Award Scouts, according to NAIOP NJ.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with networking and cocktails, followed by dinner and the awards presentation. More information about registering to attend is available on NAIOP NJ’s website.
